Summer Sidewalk Art
The first event of the library's summer program was Sidewalk Chalk Art. This event earned two credits on the check-off list for prize redemption so we went for a short while. Although advertised 'for all ages' John was the oldest kid there and wasn't eager to participate. He did draw a picture after I offered gentle parental encouragement (Do it or else!).

Why wouldn't John like this? Getting to deface public property with everyone's permission. How fun is that?
