What's for Dinner?

Homemade bean burgers, dry-sauteed zucchini, iced tea.


Burgers are made of pinto beans, lentils, onion, garlic, red pepper, bread crumbs, rolled oats. Served on toasted sesame seed baguette.


Garnishes include spring mix lettuce, sliced tomatoes, thinly sliced sweet onion, guacamole.


Fresh berries for dessert.

  1. Looks good! I like the first picture...in focus to slightly blurry. Good job. Is that the ladle you've mentioned in the last photo? It's pretty and I don't remember it. If mother gave it to you, it was on the sly!

  2. Teri, your food photos and comments made me realize that 1) I don't think I've ever seen tomatoes in Alaska that don't look insipid and 2) I hven't seen peaches look that good since I moved away from the Lower 48.
